I’m Janine.
I’m a natural light photographer. I’m in love with dreamy sunsets, hazy afternoons, crisp sunrises and all other types of beautiful light. I’m also a wife/ mum/ business owner and probably a whole list of other things I can’t think of right now!
I love photos that make you feel. It’s great to have a photo where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling, but the ones that bring a smile to my face are the ones that capture ‘that look’ your partner gives you. Or ‘that little face’ your child gets when they give you smushy kisses. Or maybe it’s the way you react to those things – but just never get to see yourself, because you’re the one who’s always behind the camera.
It always gives me so much joy to hear my clients tell me how much they love their images. I love capturing memories and I adore seeing how people love one another. Those candid moments when a daughter falls into her mother with laughter and big hugs – this is what it is all about.
Photography, for me, is where I get to help couples and families tell their story. And not just tell it, but preserve it. Time moves so fast these days and it’s so hard to constantly stay present – you’ll honestly never regret having beautiful photos to look back on.
